Offline-First — Zero Data Collection

Reminder Notebook is an offline-first application. All core features work entirely without an internet connection. As of Alpha 1.1.0, the app requests internet permission solely to display the Privacy Policy and the official website within an in-app WebView. No personal data is collected, no advertisements are displayed, and no analytics or tracking services are used. All of your data stays exclusively on your device.

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes the data practices of Reminder Notebook ("the Application", "the Service"). It is intended to inform You of Your rights and to explain how Your information is handled when You use the Application.

In short: We do not collect any data from You. Reminder Notebook is an offline-first application. All of its core features work without an internet connection. As of Alpha 1.1.0, the Application uses internet permission only to display the Privacy Policy and the official website inside an in-app WebView. No personal information is transmitted to external servers, and no third-party services are used that could access Your data.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Application refers to Reminder Notebook, the software program provided by the Company.
  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us", or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Reminder Notebook.
  • Country refers to: Turkey.
  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone, or a digital tablet.
  • Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Service refers to the Application.
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

No Data Collection

Reminder Notebook does not collect, process, store, or transmit any Personal Data whatsoever. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
  • Usage data or analytics
  • Device identifiers or IP addresses
  • Location data
  • Cookies or similar tracking technologies
  • Crash reports or diagnostic information

Since the Application does not collect any data, there is no data to share with third parties, no data to sell, and no data to process for any purpose. Your privacy is fully preserved.

Internet Permission

Starting with Alpha 1.1.0, Reminder Notebook requests the INTERNET permission on Your device. This permission is used exclusively for the following two purposes:

  • Privacy Policy — Displaying this Privacy Policy page within the Application via an in-app WebView.
  • Official Website — Displaying the Application's official website within the Application via an in-app WebView.

The internet connection is not used for any other purpose. No personal data is sent over the network. No analytics, tracking, telemetry, or advertising requests are made. The Application does not communicate with any external servers beyond loading the two pages mentioned above.

All core features of Reminder Notebook — including creating, editing, and managing your notes and reminders — work entirely offline without any internet connection. You can use the full functionality of the Application even if Your device has no network access.

No Advertising or Tracking

Reminder Notebook does not display any advertisements. The Application does not integrate with any advertising networks, ad mediation platforms, or marketing services. No advertising identifiers are collected or used.

Furthermore, the Application does not employ any analytics, tracking, or telemetry tools. Your usage of the Application is completely private and is not monitored, recorded, or analyzed in any way.

Local Data Storage

Any data You create within Reminder Notebook (such as notes, reminders, or settings) is stored exclusively on Your device's local storage. This data is not synced, backed up, or transmitted to any external service.

You have full control over this data at all times. You may delete it by clearing the Application's data through Your device's settings or by uninstalling the Application. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered by Us, as We do not have access to it.

Children's Privacy

Since Reminder Notebook does not collect any Personal Data from any user, the Application is safe for use by individuals of all ages, including children under the age of 16. No special parental consent mechanisms are required, as no data collection takes place.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date" at the top.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

In the unlikely event that a future version of Reminder Notebook introduces any form of data collection, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly, and You will be notified prior to any such changes taking effect.
